Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Health Apps LLC (“WeedPro”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you use the WeedPro mobile app, the website at weedpro.app, and WeedPro Insights. WeedPro is built by Health Apps in Detroit, MI.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• App account information, such as your email address when you create an account.
• App activity, such as strains you view, favorite and rate, searches, the reason you choose for using cannabis, symptoms and conditions you browse, and journal entries.
• Website form information, such as your name, work email, company, role and company type when you request the sample report or access to WeedPro Insights (including your state license number), and any message you send us.
• Messages you send to hello@weedpro.app.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage information from the app, such as device type, operating system, app version, how you use the app, and crash reports. We collect this through Google Analytics and the standard crash and diagnostics tools built into iOS and Android.
• Website analytics, collected through Google Analytics. This includes pages viewed, buttons clicked and general location based on IP address (city level or broader). In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off unless you accept them. Everywhere else they are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time.
• Essential cookies and local storage that make the website work, such as remembering your cookie choice and age confirmation.

How we use information

• To run the app and website, and provide features like strain recommendations, your journal and your favorites
• To send the sample report and other emails you ask for
• To verify businesses that request access, and to respond to questions
• To understand and improve the app and website
• To create aggregated, de-identified data for WeedPro Insights, as described below
• To keep our services secure and to meet legal obligations

WeedPro Insights and de-identified data

WeedPro Insights is a paid product for cannabis businesses. It is built from app activity that has been combined across many users and de-identified, so it cannot reasonably be linked to any person.

We do not sell your personal information. Insights customers receive only aggregated, de-identified trends. We commit to keeping Insights data in de-identified, aggregated form, to taking reasonable measures so it cannot be linked to any person or device, and to never attempting to re-identify anyone from it. Our agreements with customers forbid any attempt to re-identify users and require them to pass that restriction on to anyone they share the data with. Contributing to this aggregated data is part of using the WeedPro app. If you do not want your activity counted, you can stop using the app and ask us to delete your account and data. How we share information

We share personal information only in these cases:

• Service providers that help us run WeedPro, such as hosting (Cloudflare), email and forms (HubSpot), analytics (Google Analytics), and app hosting and databases (Google Firebase). They may use the information only to provide services to us.
• Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, safety and property of WeedPro, our users or others.
• Business transfers, if WeedPro is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. This policy would continue to apply to your information.
• With your consent, in any other case.

Your choices

• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email hello@weedpro.app.
• Cookies: use “Cookie settings” or “Your privacy choices” in the website footer to turn analytics cookies on or off at any time. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, they stay off unless you accept them.
• Access, correction and deletion: email hello@weedpro.app to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account and data. Account deletion is handled by request, not inside the app.

Privacy rights by state

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale, sharing for targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. To make a request, email hello@weedpro.app. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our response.

Some states give you rights over health-related information, such as symptoms or conditions you browse or the purpose you choose, including the right to withdraw consent or to opt out of certain uses. If you want your activity left out of WeedPro Insights, email hello@weedpro.app and we will exclude it from new Insights data.

Age requirement

WeedPro is only for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has given us information, email hello@weedpro.app and we will delete it.

Data retention

We keep personal information until you ask us to delete your account, or until we no longer need it to provide our services, and then we delete it or de-identify it. Form submissions and email records are kept for as long as needed to respond and to keep sending emails you have asked for. Aggregated, de-identified data that is already part of Insights cannot be linked back to you and may be kept.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and limited access. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will post the new version here with a new date and, where appropriate, tell you in the app or by email.
